Consultations

Night Guards

Some people snore while they sleep; others grind or clench their teeth. It’s not something we are aware of or do on purpose, but it can cause harmful wear and tear to the teeth and jaw nonetheless.

Night guards are made of a special material that prevents your teeth from grinding against each other. We custom fit the night guard at our office in Pointe-Claire.

The night guard is then worn at night, made to relieve your jaw muscles and protect your teeth.

Dental Cleanings & Exams

Routine dental cleanings & exams are the best form of preventive dentistry.

Depending on your level of oral health, we suggest booking a cleaning every 6 to 12 months – be sure to ask us about your recommended frequency.

During your cleaning, we will check for cavities, gingivitis, and also evaluate your entire oral health status; teeth, gums, bone, oral cancer screening and joints.

Taking note of possible indicators of dental issues, therefore treating them before they become painful and complex problems.

Our goal is to provide you with the at-home tools to best maintain your oral health.

Cone Beam CT Scanner

A Cone Beam CT scan is an advanced dental imaging technology that permits a complete 3-dimensional visualization of the teeth and supportive structures within the face – namely the jawbone, soft tissue and nerves.

It provides panoramic views of the maxillofacial area in just 10 seconds, without any invasive procedures involved.

It allows us to diagnose and plan your treatment with superior precision and care.

Book an appointment at our West Island office, and enjoy the experience of our advanced non-invasive technology!

Digital Impressions

Digital Impressions (also known as 3-D intraoral scanning) are the latest technology in capturing a replica of the mouth.

By using a wand-like tool connected to a computer and advanced software, we can create a virtual model of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth.

These replicas are much more accurate than a traditional mold model. Also, they are less messy, less invasive and more pleasant than the traditional mold material.

Patients with a severe gag reflex or sensitive teeth can enjoy a more comfortable and relaxed experience knowing we use digital impressions here at Dentaire Turner.

By using these impressions in real-time, we’ve be able cut down treatment turn around times for patients tremendously. Either by using the impressions in-house or by sending them to one of our quality labs in the Montreal area.

Athletic Mouth Guards

Sports dentistry involves prevention of injury to the hard and soft tissues of the mouth, through the use of properly fitted mouth guards.

Mouth guards offer you more than basic teeth protection. They create a cushion that provides potential stabilization of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) while also helping to prevent injury to the joint.

In addition, they can substantially reduce the type of injury affecting the soft tissues — such as the lips and gum tissues surrounding the teeth.

Mouth guards can help provide protection against numerous serious injuries, including concussions and those to the face and head.
